This idea was born when i worked in awesome Digital Identity company. Unfortunately company concentrated at own products, so i can share my idea here.
The idea is to build Supply Chain solution based on Ethereum Smart Contracts using mobile devices. Identifiers of the products or batches are Barcodes / GS1 Data Matrixes / QR codes represented as Ethereum addresses (possibly NFTs), which can be scanned by devices and converted to Ethereum entities. Parties which will receive / pass ownership of the product / batch will use mobile devices to manipulate and track. Smart Contract will save ownership / state / condition / telemetric data. Huge amounts of data will be stored at IPFS to avoid spendings of high Ethereum blockchain costs. When product / batch will reach destination we can burn tokens to avoid future reuse.
